Introduction of Pop Music
Pop music is a genre of popular music that originated in its modern form in the 1950s, deriving from rock and roll. The terms “popular music” and “pop music” are often used interchangeably, although the former describes all music that is popular and includes many different styles. Pop music is eclectic, and often borrows elements from other styles such as rock, urban, dance, Latin, and country. Pop music typically focuses on catchy melodies and hooks, and tends to be more commercial in nature than other genres of popular music. It is intended to appeal to a wide audience, and often incorporates elements of other genres such as hip hop, rock, and electronic music.

Tessa Kaye Interview on Nagamag
Photographer: Rachel Green
Nagamag:
What are the genres that describe better your music style?
Tessa Kaye:
People most often describe my musical style as R&B, electronic, indie pop.
Nagamag:
Few words about your musical background and career?
Tessa Kaye:
I've always had a love and strong passion for music and singing! I've been singing ever since I could talk. I released my first single "Fool's Gold" in January 2020 and it was added to Spotify's New Music Friday U.S. and many other NMF's around the world which was super exciting! Now I've just put out my second single "You Know Who You Are andI hHate You." This song is so close to my heart and I hope that my listeners feel that and resonate with the track. I'm so stoked for next year and everything I'll be releasing then, so look forward to much more music from me!
Nagamag:
Do you remember your first connection of love to music that was the right impact to be a music artist now?
Tessa Kaye:
One of my earliest memories of really loving and connecting to music is my little sister and I singing and dancing to Motown. My parents played it all the time and I was always doing little concerts in my house for my family haha. There isn't a single moment I can remember where I wasn't in love with music, so I know this is just something that's always been inside me.
Nagamag:
Most artists have a favorite song from a different music genre than the one they are producing music for... Which is yours?

Nagamag:
Few words about your musical background and career?
Bjorn Rydhog:
I started to write songs when I was 7 years old. Now I'm a multi-instrumentalist playing most instruments on my records, which have gained a lot of positive attention from many music blogs and been played extensively on the Swedish and international radio.
Nagamag:
Do you remember your first connection of love to music that was the right impact to be a music artist now?
Bjorn Rydhog:
As a boy I loved cheesy ballads, song compilations from the 1960s and the Eurovision Song Contest. The soundtrack of my childhood was made up of songs like Johnny Logan 'Hold me now', Percy Sledge 'When a man loves a woman' and Steve Wonder 'I just called to say I love you'. The Beatles 'the Blue Album' also made a long lasting impression.
Nagamag:
Most artists have a favorite song from a different music genre than the one they are producing music for... Which is yours?
Bjorn Rydhog:
Miles Davis "Blue in Green"
Nagamag:
Of Course Nagamag would love to listen also which track from a similar artist you admire?
Bjorn Rydhog:
The Radio Dept. "Heaven's on Fire"

THE END – Ian Biggs
“Modern sound and production can be felt instantly. Its mixture of pop and subtle rock touches are done so well. Lead vocal is the real hook within the song, really catchy and wonderfully edited and produced. Beautiful synth atmosphere creates wonderful vibe within the song. Rhythm is really groovy, playful as well, as well is the song. ”

Lyrics of Ian Biggs – THE END
Here we are at the end of all things
Your hand in mine as the sky is falling
These California sunsets don’t hit the way they once did
But we lived in the light they would bring
Nothing good lasts forever
But because of you I’m better
I know I’d be nothing if I had no life with you
we’ll be bones six feet under
Where we go makes me wonder
If it’s all for nothing at least it’s all with you
Here’s to the end
Toast to the memories
Our time came and went
Let’s let go gently
I wish you the best
Don’t hold it against me
So here’s to the end
Don’t you oh don’t you forget
You were ever so good to me
If we’re gonna die let’s go peacefully
I hold no resentment you are still my best friend
But we were everything that we could be
Nothing good lasts forever
But because of you I’m better
I know I’d be nothing if I had no life with you
Here’s to the end
Toast to the memories
Our time came and went
Let’s let go gently
I wish you the best
Don’t hold it against me
So here’s to the end
Don’t you oh don’t you forget
Don’t you oh don’t you forget me
Don’t you oh don’t you
Here’s to the end
Toast to the memories
Our time came and went
Let’s let go gently
I wish you the best
Don’t hold it against me
So here’s to the end
Don’t you oh don’t you forget

Featuring the ethereal main vocals of Christina Teli, the song explores identity and legacy through a unique fusion of Greek music elements and weird alternative pop production.
