“Even if the title is about - The Stories We Forgot- , Andreas Kübler with this beautiful cinematic neoclassical performance creates an atmospheric environment which brings the nostalgia of old memories happiness. Memories you may have forgot, but never fade deep in your soul. Like a flashback to your best moments since you felt your whole being, as human person in this world. ”

The Stories We Forgot is a very calm instrumental soft piano track including live recorded instruments like an oboe, cello, violin and trumpet. It's from the same named 5-track EP. The EP is about getting to know a new person in your life, who you take into your heart, but who at some point separates from you. After saying goodbye, you still have the beautiful stories in your mind that give you comfort. I'm very thankful for every support on this release!

Andreas Kübler’s life is all about music. He went on stage to tour Europe as singer and bass guitar player right after school, played lots of music and left the stage again to compose even more. His style could be described as epic music, but plainly emotional would cover it better. A contemporary, modern orchestral sound is the basis of his compositions, but that’s all that makes them comparable.

Andreas is one of the founders and the lead composer of the popular music studio IMAscore and responsible for the music of some of the most successful movie marketing campaigns of all time. This includes Disney’s The Lion King, Aladdin, How To Train Your Dragon, Jurassic World, Avengers and the Star Wars saga. On top of that the music he wrote for the Captain Marvel promotional campaign won the prestigious Clio Gold Award in 2019.

Andreas Küblers public music is the musical portrayal of his artist self. No limitations, no briefings, no boundaries.

“If you are too sensitive with melancholic music, not step in as this goes deep. If you are from those that melancholic music works in a cathartic way for their soul, their mood, cleaning the whole inside, then step in and let yourself flow. Fading Soul by MDJ Matthias De Jaeger is very emotional solo piano track which performed with clearly passion, erupting to strong harmonies which work as razor in your heart. Beautiful! ”

Paul Cousins – An Abstract Place (Video)

“Receiving an ocean of music variety, and in beatless ambient styles like what Paul Cousins offers here sometimes is hard to define what worked more or less to catch your attention. Usually is the blend of harmonies, the story line which blended in a brilliant way together with a secret recipe from the artist. Same as many can follow the guidelines of a cooking recipe, yet few will reach the right taste. Here we feel that mesmerizing taste. A story line which through way and at end, left us with clean thoughts, total relaxed and a warm feeling about life. This is what a good ambient story can manage! ”

An Abstract Place’ is inspired by the spaces we’re taken to during immersive listening. The track was produced with analog synthesizers, half speed 1/4″ tape effects and digital samples. It’s designed for reflective moments, walking alone or soundtracking a journey.

The accompanying video by director Edward Harber is an atmospheric study of the eroding coastline at Happisburgh, Norfolk. The historic area has undergone a process of coastal erosion in recent years, leaving a familiar place hard to recognise for residents. As more homes surrender to the sea, the sense of abandonment through elemental change weighs upon the landscape. The film takes this displacement further, by contorting the environment into something wholly unfamiliar. Sand flats merge with water intertwined in rock and tide motions are reversed. As the track unfolds the fragility of the landscape becomes fluid, echoing the ocean’s relentless pull upon the cliffs.

The track’s artwork is a collaboration with digital artist Signalstarr, and inspired by Russian abstract minimalist Kazimir Malevich.

Rebecca Jean Rossi – Waltz for New York (Spotify)

“Rebecca Jean Rossi soundtracks into her Waltz for New York and through a gently performed neoclassical style, the most beautiful piano notes, of light, positive emotions. ”

Watching New York lose so much of what has made it vibrant during this pandemic has been extraordinarily difficult: the people, the places, the bustling city life that seemingly vanished overnight. While I was writing this piece, I was living alone during the lockdown and really missing my family and my partner. I was mulling over what type of music sounded like New York City, and one night I came up with this Waltz. I hope you enjoy it and that you are all doing ok during this extremely difficult time. -Rebecca

Rebecca Jean Rossi (a.k.a Krystalmath) is an NYC based music producer, composer, multi-instrumentalist and singer.

While studying classical piano performance at the Eastman School of Music, she discovered her passion for electronic music and composition and began focusing on music production.

Between 2007-2012 she worked on crafting her individual sound as a producer. During this time she wrote and sang for an indie rock band that toured the US and most of Europe, and also produced a single in collaboration with the late but great Prodigy of Mobb Deep.

Finally in 2015, she wrote, produced, and released her first album under the name Krystalmath- with her first single “Same Mistake” hitting Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist and then the Global Viral 50, peaking in 15th place and receiving over 200,000 plays within a couple of weeks.

The entire Krystalmath catalog was picked up in 2016 to be featured on In-Store playlists by stores like Forever 21, Gap, etc. by PlayNetwork, Inc.

Always interested in a wide variety of musical genres, she is currently collaborating on a pop EP with Italian producer Jason Rooney in Milan, Italy, and will also be releasing an EP of instrumental piano compositions in 2020.
