Mid Wales/Bristol-based alt-rock band Moletrap will release their new single, Rhagofn, on November 29th. Following the success of their previous single Nation of Sanctuary, which garnered strong support from Adam Walton of BBC Introducing in Wales, the band aims to further spotlight their unique identity and sound. Rooted in the ambiguous identity of Mid Wales, Rhagofn is a bilingual track in Welsh and English that explores themes of Celtic pride, inclusivity, and the complex feelings of being “not North, not South.” The title reflects dual meanings—”in case” and “without fear”—tying into themes of self-acceptance and national identity. Walton praised the band as “unignorably great” and suggested their music calls for “a thousand mosh pits.”

The song “MOLETRAP – Rhagofn” is released by MLTRP (self released)
