"For this track, I desired to make something that conveyed the tension of keeping up with art and information by fusing sound production ideas from vaporwave, future funk, electro and house
I wanted the drums to resemble a ticking clock & the additional percussion to suggest the sound of a frantic mouse or smart phone keys futilely clicking about trying to make sense of everything. In the end all ideas are subject to the forward momentum of decay and construction, nothing can be held indefinitely. We wear out, but the rhythm of art keeps pumping along. Vapor never sleeps
