Lyrics of Eastcliff – Kaleidoscope

How has it been, Delicate skin
Living in your soft pink world
Has it been warm, after the storm?
Or is it a cold sun swell?

Patterns in the sand, did it go as planned?
Or was it all just washed away

I’m sorry I never wrote you a love song
Until you were already gone
But look how the light shines through
My kaleidoscope of colors for you

Among the shattered glass
I hope you find a rainbow
And glue it all back together
Look how the light shines through
Kaleidoscope of colors
That’s my love for you

I’m sorry I never wrote you a love song
Until you were already gone
But look how the light shines through
My kaleidoscope of colors for you

You know we’re all gonna shine
With the light of the new sun rise
You know we’re all gonna shine
Shine, Shine, Shine

“Smooth and very easy listening sounds make this song very enjoyable. Catchy guitar riffs are layered so well, creating wonderful atmosphere within the song and lead vocal is just so graceful, crispy and really beautiful. Strings in the background adds more cinematic structure and the whole song feels much more deeper and emotional.”

Lyrics of Orange Glow – Dark Horse

Where are you now, breathing still?
There’s death on your trail, so you run (please run)
You are all alone, they just don’t understand
You might find a place to hide, but there is no one

And anyone that you find
They can try, (but) you will hide
You’re a dark horse, running wild

Your rough edges, they don’t scare demons
Take your time, it’s your friend (your very best friend)
Fight your demons, gain some faith
Don’t give up, don’t you dare, I’ll be there

But anyone that you find
I can try, you will hide
You’re a dark horse, running wild

Anyone that you find
They can try, you will hide
You’re a dark horse, running wild

into the night
into the night

The meteorological winter starts on December 1 with a new single by Dutch indie pop ‘veteran’ Orange Glow. The song ‘Dark Horse’ is the first of four singles, all linked to the next season. After the series of singles an entire album will follow at the end of 2025, to complete the comeback of this alternative singer-songwriter. Therefore he is working together with the American producer TW Walsh.

The intimate Dark Horse captures the heart of winter with acoustic guitar, cello and double vocals. A melancholy, warm resting point in the stillness of winter. In this way Orange Glow breaks a radio silence of six years, in which no new music appeared, due to a line-up change and then the corona crisis. He used this period to build his own studio in the ‘middle of nowhere’ in the north of Holland. There he wrote all the songs for the new album. The singles appear at the beginning of each season (December 1, March 1, June 1 and September 1) on all streaming services.

Back to the roots
Musically Orange Glow returns to his roots now: intimate and layered indie pop, which can also be found on debut album ‘the Magic Tale’ (2008). Also written in the nature and tranquility of the north of Holland. After that, the songwriter lived in the city for twelve years and delivered two more albums. The idiosyncratic albums and live performances earned Orange Glow the title of ‘Pearl of the underground’ in the Netherlands and Belgium. In 2023, only an EP with unreleased older songs was released.

On the new material, Orange Glow is accompanied by a variety of musicians. He was helped in the recordings by producer TW Walsh (Pedro the Lion, Sufjan Stevens and The Shins) who did the mastering.
In addition to Orange Glow, a second band has now emerged, the new psychedelic (krautrock) group Red Uzum. The first releases of this will also appear in 2025.

“Catchy guitar riff from the start, pulls you into this song instantly. Lead vocal is crispy, masculine, expands this rock song perfectly adding more emotions and depth to its structure. Smooth mouth harmonica and slower pace is perfectly blended with the vocal and the lyrics that feels melancholic at times. ”

This Years Winter – Bob John Holt

Categories: Audio, Rock, Song, Spotify, The Latest|Tags: , , , , , , |

Lyrics of Bob John Holt – This Years Winter

The river sleeps beneath its ice
A silver lid on restless streams
You really don’t what you have
Til it leaves

A tree no longer wave goodbye
standing there with frozen arms
Waiting for another time to begin

So this years winter
This year’s over
Make a wish I will remember
This years winter

Put logs of oak into your kiln
Lay down your shovel if you will
Don’t run around when waterfalls
Are standing still

The lights up in the open sky
They shine but they won’t tell me why
Like they’re keeping promises for the king

So this years winter
This year’s over
Make a wish I will remember
This years winter

This years winter
Want to remember

So this years winter
This year’s over
You made it one I will remember
This years
This years winter

Stepping Stone – Love Avengers

Categories: Audio, Rock, Song, Spotify, The Latest, Video, Youtube|Tags: , , , , , |

-Nagamag.com

Lyrics of Love Avengers – Stepping Stone

Verse 1

I’ve been called a superhero

A sinner and a common man
My heart still feels the burn

Of old scars with hard truths

From places I’ve passed through

Chorus

And the world keeps turning
No wrong or right way to go
We are all just searching
For the way to go home
You are not alone
Let me be
Your stepping stone

Verse 2

A shoulder to lean on

A steady arm walkin home
A whisper in the wind

A voice that says be strong
Won’t be like this for long

Chorus

And the world keeps turning
No wrong or right way to go
We are all just searching
For the way to go home
You are not alone
Let me be
Let me be
Your stepping stone

And the world keeps turning
No wrong or right way to go
We are all just searching
For the way to go home
You are not alone
Let me be
Let me be

And the world keeps turning
No wrong or right way to go
We are all just searching
For the way to go home
You are not alone
Let me be
Let me be
Your stepping stone

Let me be
Let me be
Your stepping stone

Rhagofn – MOLETRAP

Categories: Audio, Rock, Song, Spotify, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“С первых аккордов мы ощущаем энергию и теплоту звучания. Мелодия простая, но в то же время многослойная, создаёт ощущение, что мы находимся в энергетическом вакууме созданным -MOLETRAP-, где можно открыться и быть собой. Инструменты гармонично переплетаются между собой, создавая богатую текстуру, которая поддерживает вокал, словно обнимая его.”

Mid Wales/Bristol-based alt-rock band Moletrap will release their new single, Rhagofn, on November 29th. Following the success of their previous single Nation of Sanctuary, which garnered strong support from Adam Walton of BBC Introducing in Wales, the band aims to further spotlight their unique identity and sound. Rooted in the ambiguous identity of Mid Wales, Rhagofn is a bilingual track in Welsh and English that explores themes of Celtic pride, inclusivity, and the complex feelings of being “not North, not South.” The title reflects dual meanings—”in case” and “without fear”—tying into themes of self-acceptance and national identity. Walton praised the band as “unignorably great” and suggested their music calls for “a thousand mosh pits.”

Cracks in the Foundation – Doug Kolmar

Categories: Audio, Rock, Song, Spotify, The Latest|Tags: , , , , , , , |

Lyrics of Doug Kolmar – Cracks in the Foundation

Pulled off the clapboard; put on the wrap
Bought some shiny ten-pennies and nailed it all back

Found some old wavy glass and replaced the broken panes
Sistered up that split beam that was sagging from the strain

Hauled the shutters from the barn; got ‘em painted and hung
Didn’t know we’d never finish what we had begun

I put so much love into this house, it took me by surprise
When I found there was no love left inside

I’ve got the tools to tell me what is level, plumb and square
But was not equipped to see the signs she was showing everywhere

I can tap the walls and figure out where to drive a nail
Those hollow words might be the sound of a marriage ‘bout to fail.

Thought I was building us a life with every hammer blow
I guess I never said it, just thought that she would know.

I put so much love into this house, it took me by surprise
When I found there was no love left inside

[break]

You can focus on the simple things that you know how to fix
Putting beeswax on the window tracks when they start to stick

When there’s cracks in your foundation; you know you’ve got to fill
Never had to ask the concrete if it has the will

Some love stands the test of time, some years may warp and bend
Jack it up like an old back porch but it’s never true again

‘Cause I put so much love into this house, it took me by surprise
When I found there was no love left inside
