This is #12 of 19 preludes written during the 2020 pandemic. It was inspired by a few different elements of loneliness--doing activities alone that used to be done with others, the loneliness of virtual connection, the loneliness felt when you can't see your loved ones, the loneliness of walking down a street that used to have more activity. I hope you enjoy it.

Jennifer Bowman is a music creator, performer and educator located in the Pacific Northwest. She writes piano solo music as well as a variety of music for media.
She studied music at Whitman College, Northern Illinois University, University of Minnesota and The Juilliard School. Since the age of 10 she has collaborated with other musicians in a variety of styles.
