La Sudestada – Daniel Diaz

A collaboration with Argentinean bandoneon player Santiago Arias, known for his performance on Dominique Miller’s beautiful “Absinthe” (music.amazon.fr/albums/B07MWGJW28).
This is a good example of Jazz Argentino, a jazz ballad on a folklore rhythm form north Argentina, “zamba” with an acoustic jazzy
basic instrumentation, acoustic piano,
brushed drums, upright bass and a lead Bandoneon performed by Arias. Sensitive, melodic, smooth and quite romantic ballad.
