Mirabai Ceiba and Markéta Irglová – Take On a Thousand Forms [Official Music Video] (Video)
“This composition for a moment hugs the listener with fragile shoulders and makes it clear that won’t let him go. It turned out burning so beautifully, that without listening, it would have been a big mistake. Beautiful acoustic work with an incredible vocal strength.”
“Эта композиция в мгновение обнимает своего слушателя за хрупкие плечи и даёт понять, что уже не отпустит. Получилось настолько прекрасно, животрепещуще, что не послушав её, было бы большой ошибкой. Прекрасное акустическое произведение с невероятным по силе своей вокалом.”

The serene beauty of duo Mirabai Ceiba’s upcoming album The Quiet Hour is a timely antidote, set for an August 27th release on Spirit Voyage. Mastered by Martyn Heyne (7K!), gently plucked strings and beckoning textures lead the listener on an inward journey of calm centeredness. Angelika Baumbach’s voice wells up like an undulating stream, blossoming forth with sublime poetry.
The deep, loving bond between Baumbach and her musical life partner—multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Markus Sieber (Aukai)—is palpable, as their instruments and voices intertwine on Mirabai Ceiba’s most intimate and meditative album to date.
“Take On A Thousand Forms” is the stunning new collaboration with Czech singer-songwriter Markéta Irglová (best known for her role in 2007’s Once and its Oscar winning song “Falling Slowly”). The song was created for a poem by Johann Wolfgang Goethe, and is out today. It embraces calm acoustics, an inward pulse, and the defining quality of silence.
