In The Quiet is the debut single from Ned Younger's new project Young Shields. He draws inspiration from the lush electronics of Deptford Goth & the storytelling heritage of the British folk tradition. Part of the Stranger Anthem Collective, Young Shields follows Younger’s previous project Monument Valley, which he brought to an end in 2016 following tours with Daughter& Benjamin Francis Leftwich & following a range of releases through Communion, PIAS/TriTone and Everybody’s Stalking.
